This is a great projector for a low price. The picture is clear and sharp and I use it for my living room television. I also used it at my wedding to put on a slide show using my computer. Everyone that comes to my house loves it. The picture is huge and it feels like being at the movies.

Review : TOSHIBA TDP-XP2U DLP Mobile Projector

This projector was needed to project video/slide show images on a stage screen in theater production. It had to front- or rear-project and be easy to use, because kids run tech on most of our shows. It had to be flexible and portable and projected cleanly in a variety of different environments. In the 1st show it rear-mounted 10′ from a hi-threadcount flat king-sized bed sheet screen and created a 6′x7′ image that could be seen clearly 100′ away and 70 degree viewing angle. It allows you to choose the projection mode (rear, front, top-mount, normal-mount).

Problems:
Spare/replacement bulbs cost nearly half the whole projector!
Remote (very small) only works from the FRONT of projector and then only a few feet away – nearly impossible/impractical on rear-projection.
I had difficulty fine tuning the resolution for a close-up view, which made it hard to read the setup screen from close-up, though it was quite clear from 20′ away, and the setup screen was very hard to read in rear-projection or top-mount modes.
Overall, it was a good, solid projector for the price and worth it for most normal projection needs.

Review : Toshiba TDP-F10U LED Mobile Projector

I received it yesterday, first day I started using to play movie from my laptop and it did well. The screen was a big as promised 60″, could be more but due to my room size I could not tried it. Colors were very sharp only when its complete dark but overall nice. As compare to other projectors its has only 100 lumens, it did really a great job. The only glitch I see is it required complete dark to display natural colors, otherwise in light its colors turns to some kind of blue. Screen size is also good, can use various screen size as input. The price is a bit higher as there were two choice to buy, when I was looking at small (portable) PICO projectors the other one was samsung’s new projector (P400) was also good but for design, size, feature I choose Toshiba. [...] As it has extra features like SD/MMC and USB host could be used to display your JPEG pictures (sideshow). I tried this and it was really nice to see my all pictures on big screen. I wish if it could add more feature to use USB for power point presentations and pdf files and process wireless data compatibility. Thanks to Toshiba to make such device in a small container. It’s size is really small, it’s not smaller then your palm but it will not go out of your palm too.
Well it does comes with a Sleeve/Cover and remote, video cable and the best part is with the VGA cable to connect your laptop/computer.

Review : Toshiba TDP-ET10U Projector

I was looking on Amazon for the cheapest projector that still had a bright image. This little guy was it. Of course, it is not little, and it looks more like Darth Vader’s helmet than a guy. Note that the price has fluctuated a bit, so this projector may be in demand because of its price/brightness combo.

Good:
-Short throw lens is awesome, allowing me to project from three feet away and get a large image
-Very, very easy to use
-Has all the ports necessary to control the world (of electronic devices)

Bad:
-Not the quietest projector, but not the loudest either
-Not the smallest project, but still around 10 pounds
-Cables come out the front: this is a pro or con depending on where you place it

Alas, I have sold my friend TDP-ET10U. But I will miss our times together, him projecting nine foot movies, me watching them.

Oh, and if you have a Wiimote, please consider trying out the “Wii whiteboard” idea. Google it! It’s awesome!
